Refund policy

Refund and Exchange Policy:

Your garment must be unworn (obviously this doesn't include trying it on!) with hang tag on.  Please return your unworn item(s) to the address below within 14 days. 

Please include your original order number in the package, together with details of the exchange required.  We will exchange your garment(s) upon receipt.

If returning for a refund, please tell us the reason why if you don't mind - as this is useful for us.  

All of our clothing is printed to order, including your new items.  We do not have our clothes on the shelves at Switchback Collective, we print everything fresh for our customers.

Returning Items:

Please follow the process above to return your garments to us and we will process your refund/exchange upon receipt. 

Unfortunately, we are not able to refund the original postage paid or cover the postage for returning the garments to us.  We're sorry about this, but we're just too small a company to absorb these costs.  We will of course do whatever we can to help if this is a problem. 

If exchanging your item(s) we will cover the cost of shipping the new items out to you.

If items are returned after the period stated above a refund will not be offered.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Please note that unwanted items will be refunded, however the postage costs won’t.

Faulty Items:

In the rare event that you have a problem with your order, please contact us straight away at info@switchbackcollective.com and we will do whatever possible to rectify and make sure you're 100% happy with your purchase.

Proof of any fault with your purchase may be requested  Any fault must be reported as soon as discovered.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Additional non-returnable items:
- Worn T-shirts  
- Used Mugs 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Unfortunately, sale items will not be refunded.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping Returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Delivery Details
Fulfilment is between 3-5 days depending on stock. All items are sent via 1st Class for Uk and International Tracked for International. Delivery times for Royal Mail 1st Class are between 1-2 days. International Deliveries are Tracked and can take up to a week to arrive. Please note some international deliveries may take longer if held up in the country's customs headquarters.
